Amy Moudy Comeau

Marketing Executive and Current VP of Marketing, Emory Healthcare

Amy Comeau is an award-winning marketing executive with depth and breadth in healthcare, non-profit, higher education, and performing arts. She currently oversees marketing for the most comprehensive academic healthcare system in Georgia, with two decades of experience telling stories and connecting patients, their families, and caregivers with physicians, nurses, and healthcare providers.

She’s spent her career in the healing arts – all with the goal to live a full life – whether that is through the art and science of music, medicine, or, yes, even marketing.

During the early stages of the coronavirus pandemic, Amy began writing weekly emails to her team every Friday – to encourage and uplift her suddenly virtual team through harrowing times. These emails became a habit as her team looked forward to her weekly reflections. And for Amy, they became part writing therapy and part ship's log.

Amy’s weekly writing ritual to her team has continued for over three years and remains today. Her anthology will be published as a memoir about leading a health care marketing team through a global pandemic, and how it changed the world forever. One of Amy's goals is for people to see the pandemic through the eyes of a different kind of frontline worker—health care marketers and communicators.

Her book will be published in the spring of 2024.

A proud Buffalo, NY native (and diehard Bills fan!), she has been a happy Northern transplant to Atlanta since 1997. She lives in Conyers, Georgia, an eastern suburb, with her husband Chris and son Josh. She received her B.A. in music at Northwestern University and her M.B.A. from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
